The Grill Room

One of the many eateries housed within the Los Angeles Athletic Club this place had some great food! The american breakfast buffet was typical with sausage, bacon, eggs, potato hash, french toast, fruits, yogurts, muffins, etc. Yet, even more memorable was an ono hamburger that was made to order in the Grill Room. We had it as a late night snack following a pupu party.

Honolulu Country Club

This place is located up in Salt Lake. The day I went here was Hawaiian buffet with laulau, kalua pork & mustard cabbage, beef rib stew, various other hot dishes, poke, lomi salmon, salads, and dessert.

Woo hoo, the bread pudding of all things rocked!

Carnaval Las Palmas

This place is located in Restaurant Row. It's Mexican buffet with lots of ground beef, chicken, pork, and beef steak fillings, tamales, enchiladas, tacos, and salsas.

The pork dish is unreal!

Camellia Buffet

This place is located in McCully. It's Korean buffet, yakiniku style. There's spicy pork, BBQ meat/chicken/ribs, falp meat, poke, kimchi, veggies, fillers, and dessert.

Bring a big appetite and some fast cooking skills!

Shogun Restaurant

This place is located down in Waikiki. It's mostly Japanese buffet with sushi, shrimp & veggie tempura, sashimi, crab legs, prime rib, misoyaki butterfish, various hot dishes, salads, fillers, and dessert.

Forget everything else and go for the butterfish!

This place is located in Kahala. It's Chinese buffet including steamed sea bass, sweet & sour spareribs, salt & pepper shrimp, fried rice, various meat & veggie dishes, fillers, and dessert.

Sea bass is real ono here.
